LedgerMatch
LedgerMatch security and privacy
LedgerMatch is a reconciliation tool, not a system of record. It is designed to help bookkeepers review exported transactions while keeping accounting records in QuickBooks, Xero, or the system your team already uses.
How transaction files are handled
- Raw uploaded file bytes are not retained after parsing.
- Reconciliation rows remain in the client workspace only for the active workflow and according to the account’s retention controls.
- Your accounting platform remains the system of record for financial transactions.
Security controls
- Encrypted HTTPS connections protect data in transit.
- Account access uses authenticated sessions and role-aware client workspaces.
- Input validation and file-size limits are applied before transaction files are processed.
- Exports are created for the reviewer’s next bookkeeping or accounting step.
